On October 27, the International College of BFU hosted an International Student Alumni Sharing Session. The event provided a platform for international students to exchange ideas and reflect on their academic planning and career development.

Prior to the session, Vice President Cheng Wu held a meeting with the African alumni to extend a warm welcome.

Three international alumni returned to BFU to share their study and career experiences. The alumini are:

Kaam Rene from Cameroon (Bachelor 2014, Master 2017) is now President of the BFU African Alumni Association and Central Africa Regional Director for the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR).

Ekoungoulou Romeo from the Republic of Congo (Master 2014, PhD 2017) currently serves as an associate professor at Marien Ngouabi University.

Gatwaza Olivier Clement from Rwanda (Master 2018, PhD 2024) works as a Membership Affairs Officer at INBAR.
They reflected fondly on their time at BFU and underscored the importance of understanding Chinese culture, establishing clear career goals, and seeking experiences beyond the classroom.

During the interactive Q&A session, students actively posed questions covering diverse topics such as coping with career setbacks and adapting to cross-cultural workplaces. The alumni drew on personal experiences to offer practical advice.
