On May 8th at the closing ceremony, Zhang Zhiqiang, Vice President of BFU, presented awards for outstanding delegations, advisors, and committee members for their diplomatic and analytical contributions. He emphasized the event's role in advancing global competency education. "This initiative bridges academic rigor with real-world ecological challenges, nurturing leaders who combine Chinese wisdom with international vision," he stated. Zhang urged participants to translate insights into tangible actions for sustainable development.

Delegates drafted a resolution outlining actionable strategies across four pillars: economic valuation, technology-driven governance, inclusive partnerships, and monitoring and evaluation. Key innovations include the Global Biodiversity Credit Trading Platform, AI compliance tools, and gene-editing solutions. It also ensures equity through polluter liability, regional biodiversity hubs, and debt-for-nature swaps.

Academic and administrative leaders delivered remarks urging Chinese and international youth to engage in biodiversity conservation and grow into global leaders driving sustainable development. Representative students from Ethiopia andChina also shared experiential insights and advocated for youth-led environmental actions on global platforms.

The conference aligns with BFU's New Youth Global Competency Development Program, which prioritizes international engagement and cross-cultural leadership. Moving forward, the School of Economics and Management will expand partnerships, enhance international education quality, and empower students to share China's ecological narratives on the global stage.

TITAB BIZHAR SAFAR IBRAHIM from the School of Economics & Management It, who has the opportunity to represent Iraq and the Kurdistan Region at the MUN, expressed his feelings:"Throughout the conference, we had the chance to listen to insightful presentations on the critical issue of environmental change, especially concerning biodiversity protection. It was fascinating to hear about the various policies and actions each country is taking to improve and safeguard their natural environments."

"For future leaders, we have the power to drive change," said Bizhar:"Let us embrace the call for 'Youth Action-Global Impact' and continue to make a difference in biodiversity protection."
