Liu Liwei, a physical education instructor at Beijing Forestry University, has officially earned the International Athletics (Bronze-level) Officiating Certification from World Athletics following rigorous assessment and official endorsement. She formally received her certificate, personally signed by World Athletics President Sebastian Coe, on June 24.

Liu has long been engaged in athletics teaching and competition officiating, having served as an official at national championships, student games, and marathons. This recognition reflects her professional competence and dedication, and represents an endorsement from the sport's highest international authority.

Since 2024, Man Changhui and Yang Hua have both obtained International Athletics Officiating qualifications, while Liu Jiahui was certified as an International Rhythmic Gymnastics Official. With Liu Liwei's latest achievement, the department now has four faculty members with international officiating credentialss, who will go on to represent China and BFU on the world stage.

World Athletics international certification is widely regarded as one of the most rigorous qualifications in the field, with a global pass rate of below 30 percent. Candidates must go through multiple rounds of selection, including provincial recommendation, national screening, online examinations, and practical assessments.
