Recently, BFU's International College held a cultural practicum, "Autumn in Beijing: A Cultural Exploration" at Xiangshan Park. The event brought together international students, Chinese students from Sino-foreign cooperative programs, and participants from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to celebrate the season and immerse themselves in Chinese culture.

During the event, participants were randomly assigned to teams through "autumn poetry bookmarks", each printed with a classical poem like the line extolling maple leaves in late autumn. Each team, formed around a shared verse, then embarked on a hike through Xiangshan and recorded a collective recitation of their assigned poem.

In addition, members of the International College Party Branch and foreign experts visited the Xiangshan Museum of Founding of New China. This visit deepened their understanding of China's revolutionary history.

Against Xiangshan's vibrant autumn backdrop and connected through Chinese poetry, this activity allowed both Chinese and foreign students to experience China's natural beauty and cultural heritage firsthand, while forging friendships across different student communities. It effectively promoted cross-cultural exchange and emotional connection, and served as a vivid example of the University's efforts to foster cultural mutual learning and innovative cultural education.
