Recently, Paul Russo, Vice Provost of Yeshiva University, founding Dean and Professor of Katz College, Jackie Hamilton, Director of Global Partnership and development Affairs of Katz College, and head of the China Office of Katz College visited Beijing Forestry University. Zhang Zhiqiang, Vice President of BFU, attended the symposium, and the person in charge of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and the relevant personnel of the School of Information Technology and the School of Economics and Management attended the forum.

Zhang Zhiqiang extended a warm welcome to the visiting group and introduced the history, development, disciplines and other basics of BFU. He stressed that with the new development of "One University with Two Campus" and the strengthening capacity of BFU, BFU will put more efforts in openning up and internationalization.

Professor Paul Russo thought highly of the development of Beijing Forestry University and he hoped to take this visit as an opportunity to establish cooperation between the two universities and promote mutual development and friendly exchanges.

Jackie Hamilton, Director of Global Cooperation and Development Affairs at Katz College, introduced the advantages of overseas studying at Yeshiva University, and introduced Yeshiva University and Katz College from geographical location, advantageous majors, employment rate, scholarship policies and other aspects.At the meeting, the two sides made in-depth exchanges and communication on student joint-training, scientific research and other cooperations, laying a good foundation for future cooperation.
