Beijing Forestry University's International College concluded its inaugural Hard-Tip Calligraphy Competition for international students. The event featured 137 artworks from more than 40 countries, each creatively capturing the essence of China's 24 Solar Terms through their unique brushwork.
Centered on six pivotal solar terms (Beginning of Spring, Qingming, Beginning of Summer, Summer Solstice, Beginning of Autumn, and Beginning of Winter), participants transcribed classical Chinese poems while exploring the cultural philosophy behind nature's cyclical rhythms. A judging panel assessed the entries based on accuracy, artistic composition, and cultural expression, presenting awards that included 1 Grand Prize, 2 First Prizes, 3 Second Prizes, and 5 Third Prizes.
