On August 21, President Li Zhaohu undertook a comprehensive tour that included the construction sites for the scientific research and forestry science buildings, student dormitories, and the campus emergency command center. He interacted with faculty and students to review and provide guidance on safety measures throughout the campus. Xie Xuewen, the Vice-Chairman of the University Council, joined him on this inspection to guarantee a thorough assessment of the campus's safety protocols.

Li Zhaohu visited the laboratories to hear updates on summer research activities from the leaders of respective colleges. He interacted closely with faculty and students, encouraging rigorous scientific inquiry and adherence to safety protocols, with a strong emphasis on laboratory safety.

During his visit to the Forestry Science Building's construction site, Li prioritized a comprehensive review of the project's planning, progress, and on-site safety measures.

Li toured the student dormitories to evaluate the renovation and upkeep of graduate housing, student support services, and safety measures. He engaged in conversations with students who had returned early to understand their daily routines and summer plans, urging them to make the most of the summer to enhance their academic abilities.

During his visit to the campus emergency command center, Li reviewed protocols for access control, security infrastructure, and risk management in key areas. He stressed the importance of strengthening accountability and refining operational systems to maintain consistently high levels of campus safety.
