Beijing Forestry University celebrated International Women's Day on March 8th with an awards ceremony recognizing female pacesetters from the university. President Li Zhaohu and Vice-Chairman of University Council Sun Xinli attented the ceremony, presenting awards to 43 awardees.
The ceremony featured a promotional highlighting BFU's female faculty, who have secured 57% of the university's provincial and ministerial awards, accounting for over 80 honors in the past two years.
President Li Zhaohu praised the awardees by delivering an original poem, inspiring them to continue contributing to the nation's educational and ecological advancements.
Sun Xinli announced the commendation decisions, and she encouraged the awardees to turn their honors into motivation for further achievements and to continue inspiring others.




Representative awardee Lei Xiuya, a National Model Teacher shared her teaching experience:"Education is a journey of mutual growth. We refine ourselves through teaching while nurturing students‘ potential, and this is pedagogy's highest calling."
"Women bring unique strengths to education, whether through adaptive classroom teaching or tenacious lab work." said representative awardee Li Xiaojuan, a National High-Level Talent, "We'll keep demonstrating female scholars’ indispensable role in scientific advancement."
Representative Wang Jingqi from the Budget and Finance Office also shared her story at work, and she said: "When challenges arise, women's resilience transforms barriers into stepping stones. Our commitment remains steadfast in driving institutional excellence."

An exhibition presenting awardees' achievements also launched to share their story with a wider audience.
