From June 21 to 24, the 10th Track and Field Sports Meeting of China's Agricultural Universities was held in Shandong Agricultural University. Nearly 800 athletes from Beijing Forestry University, China Agricultural University, and other 36 agricultural, forestry and maritime universities participated in the four-day competition. The high-level athletics team from BFU participated in the competition of the first division league and won the first place in the team total score and the men's team total score, creating the best record in history.

In the competition, our team, led by the head of the Physical Education  Department of BFU, composed of 32 coaches and athletes, excelled in the competition. The athletes, with their high psychological quality and competiveness, won 12 individual golden medals, 7 silver medals and 4 bronze medals; five athletes were awarded the title of "Excellent Athletes" and one coach was awarded the title of "Excellent Coach".

To prepare for the competition, the Physical Education Department has developed a detailed training plan and carried out a three-month summer training. Coaches gave on-the-spot guidance after class and during holidays, and the athletes overcame difficulties such as injuries, high temperatures, and  to work hard for the training while preparing for the final exam, showing strong cohesion and sportsmanship.

It is reported that the Track and Field Sports Meeting of China's Agricultural Universities are held every four years, which is the highest level of sports events in the country's agricultural, forestry and maritime colleges and universities, and is also an important platform for agricultural, forestry and maritime colleges and universities to test the level of sports performance and carry out sports cultural exchanges. Our university has participated in this event for four consecutive times.
