Recently, a delegation led by Ryan Guffey, Executive Vice President of Webster University, paid a visit to BFU. The head of BFU's International Relations Office presided over the meeting.

Zhang Zhiqiang, Vice President of BFU, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced BFU's distinctive educational characteristics and recent development. He stressed that, in the context of the internationalization of education, strengthening cooperation with high-level overseas universities is of great significance for cultivating innovative talents with a global perspective.
Ryan Guffey thanked BFU for its warm reception and gave an overview of Webster University's internationalized approach to education, its global campus network, and its experience and successful practices in running cooperative education programs in China. He expressed his hope that cooperation with BFU in relevant disciplines would be further strengthened.
The head of the School of Foreign Languages presented the project plan for establishing the "Beijing Forestry University-Webster University School of Global Ecological Governance". The two sides then had an in-depth exchange of views on curriculum alignment, faculty exchange, and cooperation models, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

Before the meeting, the Webster University delegation visited BFU's campus, the History Museum, and the Museum of Beijing Forestry Universityto gain an in-depth understanding of the university's scenery, development history and academic heritage.
