On September 27, 2014, 16 freshmen who just began their learning journey at BFU were ready for their first cultural experience outside the classroom: the visit to Forbidden City. It was a cloudy afternoon, but all the students were excited and were interested in exploring this world-famous feudal building group. As a part of Chinese culture, all these well-preserved carved beams, painted pillars as well as these magnificent palaces or halls were attractive and showed the great wisdom of ancient Chinese people. They also visited Tiananmen Square and Qianmen Street.
We believe all the students enjoy their first cultural experience outside the classroom and they have learned a lot. It not only enriches their life, but also helps them understand China better. Besides, it also marks a brand new concept of language teaching.
We are ready for the visit! Forbidden City, we are coming!

The class will also organize other colorful activities including paper cutting, Chinese knots making, martial arts, Tsinghua University or Peking Beijing tour in this semester.
